Richard Dilliard

Richard Rueben Dilliard, age 61 of Minneapolis, passed away February 14th, 2019. Richard attended the University of Minnesota, earning a Master's Degree in English. Among other places, he worked at the Urban League Street Academy. He was a collector of coins and loved growing plants, whether it be a flower or a tree. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Robert; brothers, Earthia Wiley, Herman Dilliard, and Benny Wiley; daughter, Kashinda Bishir; and grandson, DaShawn Bishir, as well as many other family members. Richard is survived by his daughter, Kaliya; grandchildren, Talasha Bishir, Tiasia Bishir, Maisy Martindale, Dezaireon Bishir, and many other loving family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 8th, 3:00 PM with a visitation from 2:00 - 3:00 PM, all at Bradshaw, 3131 Minnehaha Avenue, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
