Duerscherl, granddaughter, Tracy Marie Schneck, parents, Nickalos and Anna, sisters, Lue Felipe, Kate Robinson, Ann Gardner and Ethel Duerscherl, brothers, Joe and Nick Duerscherl. Survived by wife of 56 years, Betty; sons, Rick and Mark (Patty) Duerscherl; daughters, Linda (Bill) Niewinski, Deb (Rex) Schneck, Sandy (January Overton) Duerscherl and Cindy (Bill) Timmers; grandchildren, Amy and Jessie Timmers, Dan, Jenny and Casey Duerscherl,Robbie and Chris Schneck, Lowell and Lisa Niewinski and Robbie Duerscherl; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Goreks and Alora Schneck; brother, John Duerscherl; sister, Marie Schwartz; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday 11:30 a.m. at the CHURCH OF SAINT MATTHEW, corner of Hall and Robie. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the church. Many thanks to the second floor nurses, aides and staff at Southview Acres and his friends he had there. Also to sister-in-law and friend, Clare Duerscherl and Joey McCollum, our friend and helper.
