Beloved husband to Veronica "Dolly" his wife of 72 years; loving father to Betty Durand (Helen Mueller), Angela (Michael) Steinbach, Michael Durand (Byron Martel), Jon (Tracy) Durand, and Dawn (Mark) Ogren. Proud grandfather of Leah Nelson, Seth Steinbach, Jennifer Sjodin, Luke Durand, Clare Peterson, Madison Durand, Scott Ogren, Jillian Ogren, Caitlin Nichols, and Matthew Ogren; great-grandfather of Gianna and Burke Nelson, Veronica Steinbach, Sydney, Addy and Nicholas Sjodin. Also survived by 4 sisters, 3 brothers, many nieces, nephews and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 8, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
