Johnson, Richard H.

Born November 4, 1925 to Harry and Gladys Johnson in Wheaton, MN. Graduated from Wheaton High School, Class of ’44. Served in the U.S Army Air Corps as a radio operator on a B17 bomber in WWII. He was based in England in the 34^th Bomb Group. Dick received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1950. He was an engineer for 3M for 30 years. Dick married Darlene Carlson on September 4, 1949. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia “Cyd” Young (Jeffrey) and daughter-in-law, Lynn Branco; grandchildren, Ross Johnson, Lauren Del Pino (Derek), and Sam Johnson; great-grandsons, Derek Del Pino II and Ezra Del Pino. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene; son, Craig Johnson; brothers, Jack Dean and James Harold. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 28, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior.
