Hawke, Richard D. "Dick"
Age 67 of Little Canada on August 8, 2018. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan; children Byron, Ryan (Katie), and Brittany (Zach); grandchildren Keegan and Gabriela; mother Louise and brother Douglas; many cousins and extended family including his long-time legal assistant, Robyn Marah. Dick lost his three-year courageous battle with prostate cancer and complications from treating it while surrounded by his wife and children. He practiced law for over 40 years in the areas of estate planning, probate, tax and real estate. He was also an active member of many professional and civic organizations; he received several awards that reflected his passion for serving his clients and community. His integrity, character and unique sense of humor are the legacy he leaves for all of us. Dick will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held at 4pm with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 6pm on Aug 15 at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Memorials preferred in Dick's name to Minnesota Public Radio or Twin Cities Public Television.
