Richard John Olson

Age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 2, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1954 in Baldwin, Wisconsin, to Norman and Jeannette Olson. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Kristen, his two sons Alfred and Richard (Kat Yushchenko), siblings Nancy (Steve Morrison), Norman (Mary Olson), and Diane (Joe McGinnis), and countless nieces, nephews, friends and cats. 

Richard will be remembered fondly for his deep pride in his family, quick wit, keen intelligence, poetic prose, and his unique ability to monologue, lecture, and make a point unlike any other, particularly over a cigarette and a cup of coffee. A man of profound gentleness and kindness, he will be sorely missed in these turbulent times.
