Richard Johnson

Richard George Johnson, age 83 of Minneapolis, died on January 14, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, George W. and Alvina Johnson; son, Robert S. Johnson; grandson, Andrew George Johnson. Survived by wife, Darlene Johnson; sons, Paul (Janet), Bill (Nancy), Charles (Vesta); daughters-in-law, Gay and Sue; grandchildren, Phillip (Kim), Carl, Leonard, Amy (John), Joe (Cas), Heidi (Jake), Cassandra, Sam (Anna Maria), Kara, Cheyenne, Astraea, Saphira, Phoenix; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Jean Malkavage; many nieces and nephews. Proud, active member of the Union of Operating Engineers/49ers for over 57 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 21 at 11 AM at OUR LADY OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5426 12TH Ave S, Minneapolis, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Castle Rock Valley Cemetery.
