Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 after a long battle with COPD. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Leo and Laura Moody. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Beverly Bloes and Evelyn Davison. Survived by his wife, Marion; his children, Kathy D'Costa, Connie (Dick) Marlow, Mark (Cathy) Moody, Terry (Karen) Moody, Carole (Ken) Ronsberg, Karen (Rich) Mahr, Colleen (Joe) Ayd, Scott Moody, and Tina (Jim) Beckstrom; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He retired from IBM after 36 years of employment. Dick served his country in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 29, 11:00 A.M. at the CHURCH OF ST. CHARLES, 409 North Third Street, Bayport, followed by lunch. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment with honors at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi. Memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice.
