Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 7th 2017. Preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Marcelane; son, Brian; brothers, Joseph, Mark, Butch Tehle; sisters, Joann Haugen, Theresa Christenson. Survived by his loving children, Cynthia (Keith) Lance, Katharyn (Lawrence Jr) Aubin, Jennifer (David) Gardner, Thomas (Marlyn) Tehle; brother, Don Tehle; sisters, Patty Crater and Betty Raftevold; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dick was a longtime resident of the North End (Rice St.) and served his country in the Marines Corp from Feb. 1956 - Feb. 1959 (peace time). He was known for his sense of humor, storytelling and willingness to help out family and friends. We love you Dad. Celebration of Life, Friday, July 14th at 11AM at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 670 W. Wheelock Pkwy. Visitation one hour prior at Church. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
