Kinderman, Richard “Dick”, age 86, of Lake Elmo, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 29th. Dick was born in St. Paul, MN in 1935. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Survived by loving wife of 58 years Carole; children, Loretta, Steve (Lynn), Matt (Mindy); grandchildren, Laura, Mandy, and Nick Giese, Frank Kinderman, and Madison Kinderman; sisters, Ruth Ann (Ed) Arnold and Helen Mae Pavek, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by father, Frank and mother, Loretta, and brothers, Gerard and Greg.
Dick attended Harding High School and graduated in 1954. He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1959 as a hospital corpsman. He returned to work at 3M company where he enjoyed traveling internationally and retired after 40 years.
Dick enjoyed hockey and played in an old timer’s hockey league. Dick was also an excellent golfer; his highlights being his first hole in one in England and golfing at St. Andrews and Gleneagles in Scotland. He spent the winters in Sun Lakes, AZ where he could golf all winter. He also enjoyed pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Above all else he loved his family, and he was the happiest when he was spending time with them. His larger-than-life presence will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 18th, visitation at 10:00 am, Memorial Mass at 11:00 am at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater.
