Rob DeWolf, age 40, of Pine city, formerly of Bayport and Lake St. Croix Beach passed away unexpectedly September 6, 2020. Rob had a heart of gold, with enough love and laughter to fill the world over. He was the ultimate Vikings fan, his enthusiasm for them never diminishing. Where he was, the sounds of the 1980s were sure to follow. Above all, he had a lot of love to give, especially to his family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Peterson, Irene Baker, Dale Sherburne, and Beverly and Richard DeWolf Sr.; father-in-law, Pete Chamberlain; and his uncle, Robert DeWolf. He is survived by his wife, Emily DeWolf; son, Lincoln DeWolf; step-children, Mason and Mya Reeves; parents, Dawn (Kris) Peterson and Rick (Lucy) DeWolf; siblings, Michael (Angie) DeWolf, Kyle (Lauren) Peterson and Kasey (Brittany) Peterson; grandmother, Jewell Peterson; niece, Kennedy Peterson; nephews, Cole and Gavin DeWolf; aunts and uncles; and a host of other loving family and friends. A celebration of Rob’s life will be held Friday, September 11 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the LAKESIDE PARK BEACH HOUSE off MN Highway 95 and Central Avenue in Bayport. Masks are required for the safety and courtesy of all who wish to pay their respects to Rob and his legacy, and the Vikings apparel or colors to honor their ultimate fan. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
