Robert “Bob” James Aldrich
Age 74 of Stillwater, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Aldrich; parents, Wallace and Lois (Farstad) Aldrich; sister, Pamela Zirbes; sisters-in-law, Dawn Aldrich, Doris Applegate; brothers-in-law, Duane Ebensteiner, Bill Zirbes.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years, Mary Jane (Ebensteiner); children, Tracy (Chris) Wachowiak, Ricky (Emily Volner) Aldrich; daughter-in-law, Angela Mattys; grandchildren, Sophia, Jaxon, Hayden, Alaina, Brecken, Abigail, Madison, Ariana; siblings, Cathy (Dan) Jenniges, Nancy (Steve) Wallace, Becky (Dan) Rossow, Mike Aldrich, Tom Aldrich; many nieces and nephews. 

Bob was a Veteran of the United States Army but spent the bulk of his career in the production lines at Andersen Corporation as a proud window craftsman. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh.  Bob was a lover of country music and a devoted Vikings fan.  He would watch many games from the safety of the kitchen (rather than living room) when the score was close. Bob was a skilled cribbage player who gave every opponent a run for their money.  Bob's favorite drink was a big glass of ice cold milk.  He couldn't have a meal without one (or two).  Over the past 17.5 years Bob showed everyone what it meant to be a proud, loving and patient grandfather.  Watching the grandkids grow, adventure and soak in life at the lake surrounded by his family and neighbors under the shade of the trees brought him immense joy.  

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior.
