Age 86, passed away on November 8, 2010. Will be deeply missed by those who love him. Preceded in death by parents, Antonio and Ignazia Balsimo; eleven siblings; and beloved daughter, JereLynn Balsimo. Survived by much loved wife, Elaine; children, Sandra (Bob), Robert (Denise), Marilu (Dan), Larry (Janeen) and Laure (Gene); grandchildren, Christine, Karen, Carla, Angela, Gena, Maria, Jason, Matthew, Mariah, Jesse, Nick, Joe, Natale, Andria, and Talia; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. 25 year employee of Hamms Brewery. Longtime member of the Aldrich Arena Long Blade Ice Skating Club, Marconi Club and St. Ambrose Men's Club. A special thanks to the caring staff at Regions 8 South, Health Partners Hospice and the compassionate staff and residents of Trolley House at Boutwells Landing. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, 11:00 A.M. at ST JUDE OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 700 Mahtomedi Avenue, Mahtomedi. Interment Union Cemetery . Visitation Sunday, 4:00-7:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at church.
