Robert Helge Larson Sr.

Age 74 of Minneapolis passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2024.

He is survived by his son, Robert Jr. "BJ"; siblings Jan Triplett, Jerry(Bonny) Larson, Cliff(Jennifer) Larson, Ken(Pat Foss) Larson; brother-in-law, Toby Dinsdale; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helge and Dorothy; partner Kathleen Pray; sister, Judy(Ron) Dow; brother-in-law, Chuck Triplett; sister-in-law, June Dinsdale.

Bob was an expert historian when it came to his favorite topic, the City of Minneapolis. He was always happy to take guests on history tours of the city. Bob was a notorious free spirit who entertained all with his useless trivia facts and insights. He had an uncanny knack for remembering special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries by sending a card to special people in his life. His social hub was the Schooner.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, March 2nd from 12-2 p.m. at Bradshaw, 3131 Minnehaha Ave S, Minneapolis. A reception will follow the gathering at the Schooner.
