Robert H. "Bob" Marty

Age 82, of Somerset, passed away peacefully after an 18 year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Jeanne.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Judy; sons, Jim (Sheila) and Brian (Stephanie); grandchildren, Tessa (Kody) Strey, Adam (Devyn) Marty, Sabrina (Dan) Niemeyer and Caitlyn (Nik Olson) Marty; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Lucy; sister, Mary Jean Raymo; brothers, Dave (Judy), Steve (Linda) and John (Kathy) Marty; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Bob enjoyed fishing in Canada, hunting and camping with family and friends. Bob's wife, Judy, was always by his side during the good times and bad, but especially during his long fight with cancer. She fulfilled her vows without hesitation.

Bob's real passion was his grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to attend a sporting event, (local or out of town) and he was so proud of each of them. He loved spending time with them individually as well.

Most recently, his new great grandchildren filled his heart with so much joy. He will be missed tremendously!
