Robert Andrew Minor (Bob)

Age 88 of Stillwater Township, MN

Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2019. Bob was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 15, 1931. He previously resided in Duluth, MN, where he graduated from Duluth Central High School and received his B.S. in Social Work from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is preceded in death by his parents, Celina and Andrew Emil Minor; and is survived by Carolyn, his loving wife of 43 years, his sons Robert Jr (Yalu) of Las Vegas, NV; William (Carol) of Superior, WI, and daughters, Jeanne and Peggy of Duluth, MN., Carolyn’s daughter, Dawn (Greg) Mengel of Guilderland, NY and son, Eric Aslaksen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; grandchildren Heather and Alicia Bufkin; Thomas, Caitlyn and Matthew Minor; Marin and Grant Mengel and Charles Huang. Bob held many jobs in his lifetime, but the one he enjoyed most was when he bartended at the Met Center for the Minnesota North Stars hockey team. He enjoyed engaging in conversation with the interesting people he would meet often sharing humor in jokes, puns and stories. He was a long standing member of the Stillwater Elks Lodge #179. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 16, at 11 a.m. with visitation 2 hours prior at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
