Moore, Robert D.
Born April 17, 1913 in Kellogg, MN, lived in South Minneapolis and most recently at Heritage of Edina. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Amelia; wives, Dorothy and Virginia; son, Thomas; grandson, James; brother-in-law, Kenneth Warner; 1 brother, 6 sisters, and their spouses. Survived by son, Donald (Vivian); daughter, Leona (Vernon) Friedrich; daughter-in-law, Marlene Moore; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. 71 year member of Local #563 Laborers Union. Through the union, he had dinner with President Truman. He was very proud of the many jobs he worked on including the IDS, the old Met Stadium and Southdale. He enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting. Special thanks to the staff at Heritage of Edina for their loving care. Service Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
