Age 80 passed away on September 11 at Providence Place. Bob was a gentle & caring brother, uncle, friend who lived with Parkinson?s for years with courage & dignity. He was a member of St. Helena?s Catholic Church & Knights of Columbus #435. Served in Army Med. Corps in WWII. Retired employee of Minnegasco. Preceded in death by parents Raymond & Myrtle Perkins; siblings Richard, Leroy, Terry, Sr. Mary, CSJ and nephew, Gregory. Survived by sisters, Marcy (Don) Higgins, Mpls., Eleanor, Palo Alto, CA; sister-in-law, Lorna Perkins, FL; Aunt Oley Koehntopp and many cousins. Loving uncle to nieces/nephews, great-nieces/nephews and great great nephews. A sincere thank you to those who cared for Bob at Providece Place also to Dr. Peter Koontz, Sr. Joan Rutz and Carol Davis who provided such compassionate care to Bob and support to his family. Memorial service Wednesday 7:00PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Remember Me in your hearts, your thoughts and your memories of the times we loved, the times we cared, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
