Bob was born on August 21, 1946, to Clarence and Alice (Zynda) Rozmarynowski in Stevens Point, WI, the third of thirteen children. He was baptized at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church in Bevent, WI, but was confirmed much later in life at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, MN, when he converted to Lutheran.

Bob was in the military for a very short time, and he was proud to talk of his service to his country. Then the family moved to Brownton MN, and Bob worked at HAVTI, now Ridgewater College, in Hutchinson, MN.
In May of 1980, Bob married Donna Mae Kempfert. They made their home in Hutchinson, where Bob had different jobs until together, they purchased and ran The Wash Tub Laundromat. Bob was active in his Church, Peace Lutheran, where he taught Sunday School. When Bob’s work took him to the Twin Cities area in 1984, Bob and Donna moved first to Rockford, then to Cedar, finally settling in Maplewood in 1997, where they lived together for 22 years until Donna Mae passed away in 2019.
Bob was a successful tire salesman and store manager for General Tire and PTL Tire & Auto. He and Donna were able to take many reward trips throughout his career. Bob was a Red Cross Volunteer for many years later in life and he would also give his time at a homeless shelter in Hugo.
