Age 84, lifelong resident of Lake Elmo
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 13, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Len and Ann Wier. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Ellen; sons, Jed (Darla) and Dick (Anne); grandchildren, Seth (Onnalee), Bob, Logan and Mandy Wier; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was Assistant Fire Chief for Lake Elmo Fire Department for 22 years and a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Elmo. Special thanks to the staff at Oak Park Senior Living and HealthEast Hospice for their loving care. A celebration of Bob's life will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11194 - 36th Street North, Lake Elmo with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
