Rod Stickney

Rodney Lee Stickney, 69, of Lindstrom, MN, passed away on December 22, 2023. Born November 20, 1954, in St. Paul, Rodney was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Rod was known for his loving and caring nature, always putting his family first. He was a devoted husband to Kathy Stickney and a dedicated father to his sons, Niles, Trestyn, Mason, and Addison and daughter, Teagan. Rod cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, Niles, Nerissa, Nadine, Naomi, and Brandon, and as a step-dad to Jerome Devine.

Rod enjoyed staying busy and was known for his dedication to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. His commitment to his well-being was an inspiration to those around him.

Rod's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived his life caring about those he loved, and our lives were blessed with him in it and makes it difficult to say goodbye.

In addition to his immediate family, Rodney leaves behind a large and loving extended family. He is survived by his siblings, Dorette Lindorfer, Tim (Jenny) Stickney, Colette (Paul) Toensing, Brad (Linda) Stickney, Odette (Lon) Zachrison, and Suzette (Tom) Robinette. Rodney will also be fondly remembered by his sister and brother-in-laws, Terry (Mike) Havican, Patty (DuWayne) Olson, Cori (Jim) Huisenga, Tom (Suzy) Robinette, Mike Robinette, Tim Ernst, Bev Stickney, Bill Frandsen, and Dave Rangel. He will be greatly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his son, Addison Stickney, his parents, Orrin and Marva Stickney, his brothers, Greg and Jeff Stickney, and his sisters, Lonette Frandsen and Yvette Rangel. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Colleen Ernst, and brother-in-law, Arnie Lindorfer.

A memorial service to celebrate Rodney's life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center located at 4600 Greenhaven Dr, White Bear, MN 55127. The visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 pm.
