Services for Roger P. Dornfeld, age 73, of Stillwater, will be Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service.
Roger died suddenly at home on September 16, 2005. He was born April 10, 1932 in Stillwater to Irvin & Leona Dornfeld. He was preceded in death by first wife, Martha; and parents, Irvin & Leona Dornfeld. He will be sadly missed by wife, Adeline; children, Mark (Kim), Brian (Paula), Keith; step-children, Scott (Karen) Elliott, Stan Elliott, Nancy (William) Baker, Billy J. Elliott, Joyce (Justin) Jackola; grandson, Alex; 7 step-grandchildren; brother, David I. (Kitty) Dornfeld; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a veteran of the Korean War, loved the outdoors, enjoyed working with wood, and traveling. Memorials are preferred to Nature Conservancy.
