Roger Hennessey

d. September 1, 2013

Hennessey,
Roger
Age 67, Somerset, Wisconsin
St. Pete Beach, Florida
Roger passed away peacefully on September 1, after a short 'courageous' battle with brain cancer.
Roger taught one year before being drafted and is a Vietnam vet. He taught high school math at St. Paul Central and Como High School. Along with teaching, he also coached football and wrestling. His most enjoyable coaching experience was assisting the Larson and Seibel football team. He had so much respect for the coaches and students at Somerset.
Roger loved to travel, whether it would be a road trip in the U.S. or to China or Europe, he was always excited to experience new cultures.
Uncle Roger always enjoyed living an active lifestyle and was eager to organize a game. Retiring to Florida allowed him to play tennis with so many great friends who enjoyed his energy.
He loved spending time with his wife, Linda and son, Michael. He had such pride and happiness in his family.
Preceded in death by sister, Lavonne and brother, Jim.
Survived by wife of 40 years, Linda and son, Michael, sister, Marge (Bob) Folsom, brothers, Don (Roz), Tom (Barb), also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him.
