Roger Leo Overson

Age 78, of Maplewood, MN

Died on 2-27-22 after a long battle with Leukemia. Born to Marie (Reed) and Raymond Overson in St. Peter, MN.  Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Curt and Gary.  Survived by wife, Mary Beth (Kuhne), children, Nancy (Pete) Boulay and Ryan Overson, grandsons, Ben and Charles Boulay, siblings, Denny (Diane) Overson, Karen (David) Ruehling, Lynn (Steve) Larson, and Jean Johnson, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Roger grew up on a farm near Gaylord, MN.  After high school he enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS Saratoga.  He was employed at 3M for over 35 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, keeping an immaculate lawn, and being with friends and family, especially his two grandsons. A special thank you to St. John’s Hospital and Fairview Accent Hospice.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, 12:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
