Ronald Bird

Ronald Bird, Age 81 of Stillwater, suddenly left us on April 13, 2018, and joined his beloved wife of 60 years, Jayne, who went to heaven only five months ago. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton and Effie; siblings, Hamilton, Jr. "Skip" (Jeanette), Johanne Anderson, Roberta "Freddie" (William) Mordick. He is survived by children, Mike (Lisa) Bird, Kelly Rosenbush; grandchildren, Joseph Rosenbush, Angie (Patrick) Powers, Nathan Rosenbush, Samantha Bird, Stephanie Bird; great-granddaughter, Ellie Powers; siblings, Margot (Bob) Childers, Robert (Linda), Eddie (Alice), Billy (Joan), Dale, Nancy; in-laws Sandy and Melvin. A genuine, humble and responsible man, Ronald was devoted to his family and always put their happiness and comfort above his own. He adored his wife, Jayne, bent over backwards for his daughter, Kelly, and had weekly football dates with his son, Mike. He was a devoted grandfather and helped Jayne provide day care for his grandchildren for many years. He was a proud Stillwater High School alumni, and a loyal employee of Andersen Windows for most of his career. A celebration of Ronald's life will be 5PM Saturday, April 28 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
