Ron Lindeberg, 83, passed peacefully, with loving family present, on November 21, 2023 after a long bout with Alzheimer’s disease. He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Micki (Marlene), 3 sons Ronald Meyer, Brent Gordon, Aaron (Lisa) Marshall; daughter Shana Serene (Patrick) Boyer; 6 grandchildren Danelle, Robert, Michael, Rory, Madeline, Chase; 5 great grandchildren Colton, Cayden, Kiah, Rowan, and Croix; sisters Susan Schwartz, Karin (George) Alecci and Peggy (James) Markham along with many other close family members.
He was preceded in death by his sister Janice Ferderer and her husband Charles; Brother in law Chuck Schwartz and grandson Matthew.
Ron’s values, kindness, honesty, love, gentleness were lessons he learned early from his mom and dad, Robert and Signe and his large extended family….their door was always open. The Boy Scouts of America taught him much. He was a proud member and an Eagle Scout, when that was a great honor. He earned an Order of the Arrow. He was always a gentleman, he opened doors, and truly helped old ladies across the street.
Ron was a salesman’s salesman! Flexible packaging was what he sold, boxes and bags, in Mn and along the Red River Valley. Everything he sold was sold with his friendship. All of his friends all considered him family. Where ever he travelled he always met people he knew. He was always in a loving frame of mind, and always had a good story to tell.
He loved nature it was where he found God, and was at home anywhere. He loved hunting, and was a champion skier, he loved going for the gold. Ron enjoyed fishing, travel, cars from the 50’s, and sharing time with his kids, and his wonderful grandkids. They all have their stories of Papa Ron. He will not be forgotten.
He was loved by all, even in his Memory Care home when he could no longer speak he made friendships with his loving energy, and winning smile.
