Ronald Herman Weill

D. August 12, 2024

Stillwater, Minnesota

Ronald Herman Weill (Ron) died on 08/12/2024 after a lengthy period of loving care. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra Stuart Gray (Sandy), his parents Herman N, Dagmar E. Weill, and his sister Karen. He is remembered in love by Sandy's family including her children Robin (Oran (Angie, Enson, Aldous), Kim, and Jada), Leslie (George, Ali (Josh), and Nicholas), and Owen (Rachele, Jacob, Arson, and William) along with a lifetime of friends and colleagues.

Ron was a bright and curious individual, always learning, loving books, music, art, gardening, hiking, exploring, great food, great movies, and sports (including as a referee for basketball and lacrosse). Ron was deeply spiritual and found peace in meditation. Ron and Sandy loved to travel near and far and were passionate about many states in Mexico as frequent destinations.

Ron brilliantly, passionately, and compassionately practiced professionally for 37 years as a Psychologist, MA, LP, in multiple capacities including specialized practices, MN DOC at Stillwater Prison (from which he retired), and a private practice in Stillwater, MN for individuals with a wide range of needs.

Ron's family would like to express gratitude to the compassionate and supportive staff at HP Regions (NE5), Amery, The Bluffs in Hudson, and Lakeview Hospice for their steadfast care of Ron.

A celebration of Ron's Life will be held as an open house visitation on 8/22/2024 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
