Age 85 of Roseville
Preceded in death by son, David Diestler. Survived by cousin Marilyn Calkins and many other cousins and friends. Born in Kansas City, Rose was an alumni of Missouri Valley College, and retired from the University of Minnesota. She had an active interest in theatre, and spent some time as executive director for Lakeshore Player Theatre. Rose was passionate about roses - growing, cultivating, judging and writing about them. She was an American Rose Society Rose Judge and Consulting Rosarian, and a National Garden Clubs Master Judge. She was also an active longtime member at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Roseville. Memorial service will be 10AM Monday at PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2561 Victoria St N, Roseville. Memorials to TPT, Union Gospel Mission, Lakeshore Players Theatre, American Rose Society, or donor's choice preferred.
