Acosta, Rudolph Anthony Jr.
Passed away peacefully February 22, 2005 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by mother, Rose and infant sister Gloria. Survived by father, Rudy, Sr.; loving wife Gail (Mazurkiewicz); children, Dino, Gloria, Carol, Rocky, Ed (Jill), and Lisa (Jim) Daly; grandchildren, Renee (Dinis) deCarvalho, Anthony, Adrianne, and Eric Acosta; family friend Paula and his beloved Beagle, Chippy. Also survived by other family members in Wisconsin and Florida. Rudy grew up on the east side of St Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. He worked for 34 years at the Ford assembly plant. He loved being at his cabin and enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and barbequing for family and friends. He took special joy in the children at Playschool where he helped during his retirement. Rudy Jr. brought laughter and joy to Ramsey Nursing Home where he visited his father Rudy Sr. daily. He had a talent for solving mechanical problems, and was always willing to put it to use helping family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at SAINT JOHN'S OF LITTLE CANADA, 380 East Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Visitation Sunday 2-6 PM at BRADSHAW, 1174 Payne Avenue, St Paul, and one hour prior to service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society. Interment Saint John's Cemetery, Little Canada.
