Survived by wife of 62 years, Amelia; sons, Andrew (Rebecca) and Richard (Sharon); grandchildren, Andrea (TJ) Johnson, Anthony - Captain US Air Force, Joel, Karissa, Kenzie, and Austin. He was born in Virginia, MN. He was a First Lieutenant in the 776th Tank Destroyer Batallion, Company C in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. He raised his family in Duluth, MN and was a lifelong Mason and Elks Club member. Memorials are preferred.
