Russell V. Pedersen

Pedersen, Russell V. Navy RDM 2C WWII 8-15-1924 - 2-8-2006 Preceded in death by wife, Gloria; parents, Marvel Shikowsky and Victor Pedersen; brother, Donald, step-brother, Eugene Shikowsky; and son-in-law, Steve Prinz. Graduate of Mechanic Arts H.S. and U of M MacPhail School of Music. Russ lovingly left behind his children, Donald (Cherie), David (Pastor Linda), Chris Cegla (Jerry) and Marcy Prinz. He was known as GRANDFATHER by Eric (Christin), Tracy, Sarah (Rev. Matt Hausken), John, Carrie, Jim, Brian and Christy; great grandson, Leif. Russ was an awesome tenor at Faith Lutheran Church in St. Paul, and sang in the group called The Serenaders. Russ' sense of humor was like no other. His jokes and quick one liners always made people laugh, and are probably doing so yet today. Memorial service Monday 11AM at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Charles Ave & Mackubin, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 4-6PM at BRADSHAW, 678 S. Snelling Ave. @ Eleanor, and a visitation with brunch will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
