nee Honigschmidt of Stillwater, MN. Passed away on March 31, 2010. She was born in Minneapolis, MN to Otto and Christina Honigschmidt. Preceded in death by loving husband, Franklin, daughter, Nancy, sons, Franklin, Jr. (Lillian) and Donald (Annelies), grandsons, Jeffrey and Timothy, parents, and brother, Edwin. Survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many loving friends. She moved to Stillwater with her husband and became active in the American Red Cross Bloodmobile as a volunteer. She was a past president of Stillwater Woman's Reading Club and a member for over 50 years and enjoyed being involved with the annual Lutefisk dinner at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member. Ruth was well known for her beautiful craft work of many kinds such as all types of needlework, china painting, rosemahling, making and painting porcelain figurines, Norwegian Hardanger, and many just fun crafts. She was very talented in many many types. Service Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11AM at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 North Fourth Street, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater, MN, American Heart Association or donor's choice.
