Ruth Tekle was a 19-year-old Eritrean girl who passed away very suddenly. She was a kind, sweet soul whom everyone around her loved dearly. We are devasted by this loss and she will be missed very much. I wanted to start this Gofundme page so her family can get help paying for her funeral and hospital expenses. On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Milite and her two sons received news that their beloved daughter and sister Ruth Zekareas Tekle had unexpectedly passed away. Ruth died at 19 years old, leaving behind her mother, Milite and her siblings Muse and Aron. We are left in complete shock, confusion, and indescribable grief. Ruth grew up in Woodbury Minnesota, with a passion of God and was strong in her faith. Ruth was the rock of the family. She was pure, loving, caring, energetic, and extremely driven. During this challenging and painful time, we are in need of immense support from the community. As we are all aware, the outside circumstances concerning COVID-19 have placed immense limitations on the proper grievance and burial of Ruth.
