Also known as Taywaywa Paw, passed away suddenly on Sunday night May 7, 2023. Sail was 21 years old.
Sail Moo was born as a Karen, in Thailand on September 30, 2001. He was the second child of Ta Ku Htoo and Lah May Paw. Sail spent the first 10 years of his childhood in the Thailand refugee camp. Sail's family then immigrated to the U.S. in the state of Minnesota, where he lived for 11 years in St. Paul.
Sail always cared and loved his family a lot. Sail had a great passion for soccer and fixing cars as a mechanic. Towards the end of his life, Sail took a great interest in his faith in Christ. Sail Moo will be remembered for his beautiful smile and bright personality that never fails to light up the room. All the people who knew him loved him very much. He's the son, brother, and friend everyone would want to have.
Taywaywa was a new believer in Jesus before his passing. He loved God, wanted to know more about God, and was considering baptizing this summer. After the passing of his dad, Ta Ku Htoo, Sail had to take on the role of the man of the household at 16 years old. He was the backbone of his family and the glue that held them together. He made sure papers were done, bills were paid, and drove his family around whenever he was needed. He always thought about his family and prioritized them. He made sure to give kisses to his mom and sister when going or coming back from somewhere. He loved them dearly. All the people who knew him loved him very much. He's the son, brother, and friend everyone would want to have.
Sail loved playing soccer and loved all the friends he made over the years from playing soccer. Sail was very passionate about soccer and it was also an outlet for him whenever he was stressed. He even wanted to become a soccer dad one day. All the friends and family that was around him could feel the joy he always radiate with his bright personality. His favorite jersey numbers were #5 because that was the number of family members he had after the passing of his dad. His other favorite number was also #25 because he started dating his girlfriend on the 25th of December.
Sail was also a very handy man who loves to fix cars. This spring, Sail fulfilled his father's dream of having attend and graduating from college. He wanted to make his late father proud and always kept his father in his thoughts. He just finished and was going to be graduating with an associates degree in automotive.
