Salena Chhum

Salena Thavie Chhum, Age 19 years old of Inver Grove Heights, MN passed away suddenly in a roll-over accident as a passenger on July 8, 2017 a half mile south of the 130 exit near Mora/Hinckley, MN. Salena was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend. Survived by her mother, Mary Ly, San Ly (Step-Father), Sokhom Chhum (Biological father) and siblings in order of age Sonann Chhem, (Tommy Ly -Step- Brother), Charlie Chhum, Brandon Teuy, Kamrin Teuy, Sani Ly, Khloey Ly, and Sylas Ly. She also has four Step-siblings from a previous marriage, Thina Teuy, Tj Teuy, Rithy Teuy & Dany Teuy. She is also survived from her Grandfather, Gary Miller from her mother's side and Grandmother, Pring Top from her biological father's side. She is also survived by her Grandparents Chin Ly and Sean Cheam, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.
Salena was born 1/23/98 in North St. Paul, MN at home on the bathroom floor. She was a beautiful, intelligent, kind, caring and loving person. She was a true hippie at heart and loved tye-dye, astrology, and all the beautiful things the world has to offer. She lived life to the fullest: young, and free. She was a cashier at the corner store in Inver Grove Heights and attended college at Inver Hills Community College.
Funeral services will be held on Friday July 14, 2017 at Bradshaw Funeral Home 1078 Rice Street St. Paul, MN. Services will begin at 10am and continue until 1pm.
Immediately following the services, we will lay her to rest in Resurrection Cemetery 2101 Lexington Ave. South, Mendota Heights, MN 55120.
