Sally Zoller

Sally Marie Zoller passed away peacefully Friday, July 21, 2023, at 72. Sally was born at 1019 So 5th Street, Stillwater. She attended St Mary's grade school from grade 1st to 7th. In the 8th grade, her mom sent her to Stillwater Junior High so she could learn how to sew. Sally went on to graduate from Stillwater High School in 1969. After high school, she started working as a clerk at the County Assessor's office. Sally worked up from a clerk to a County Assessor. She worked in many communities assessing residential properties, including Stillwater, West Lakeland, and others. During the last few years of work, Sally transferred to the Woodbury office, where she retired in 2013.

She loved to bowl and play softball. She was the pitcher for a girls' softball rec league. Sally read, played cards in the card club, enjoyed her pool on hot summer days, traveled in the winter, and entertained the family on Easter and 4th of July fireworks. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and their activities.

After retirement, Sally renewed her passion for sewing, which her mother had taught her in 1964. She would mend dresses, make quilts for the church sale and family, mend men's pants, make gifts for family and friends, and, on occasion, make wedding dresses.

Sally married Terry in 1977 and had one son. She loved her dogs. While walking the dog in 2016, she had a cardiac arrest and fell, which resulted in a TBI. She had been struggling with this and, as a result, went peacefully home to see her mother.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater from 4 pm to 7 pm. A private service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her Husband, Terry Zoller; Son, Peter (Wendy) Zoller; Grandchildren, Aniston, and Kylie; and siblings, Mary (Chuck) Bischoff, and Rick (Sherry) Meister, sister in law, Sue Meister; brothers-in-law, Jim (Theresa), Robert (Mary), and Jeff (Sue) Zoller.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Helen Meister; Brother, Ken.
