Age 16
Survived by parents Michelle and Jim; siblings Andrew, Abbie and Gracie; Grandparents Roger and Shirley Heroux and Bill and Peggy Wood; Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and loving four-legged companions Shiba and Inu.
Sam was born on April 27, 2000. He passed away on August 20th, 2016 surrounded by loving family after an epic two-year battle with Ewing Sarcoma. Although he lost his battle in the end, Sam never let cancer truly beat him. During his ongoing fight he was strong and despite an endless number of challenges he never let the disease define who he was or diminish his outlook on life. Sam, a connoisseur of computer video games and chicken wings was an incredibly intelligent, clever, warm, loving and goofy young man. He was taken from us too soon and the world is less for his loss.
Our Sam will always remain with us in our hearts.
