Rooker, Sarah
Age 42, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully December 11, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Sarah and her family and friends fought a faith-filled battle with cancer and adopted the motto: "Be A Warrior Today." Preceded in death by mother, Marilyn Karr; grandparents, John V. Karr, Natalie and Vernon Cook; and aunt, Helen Heideman. She will be sadly missed by husband, Tom; sons, Isaac and Luke; father, Robert Karr; brother, Stephen (Dana) Karr; grandmother, Loretta Karr; nieces, Jill, Madeline and Kate; nephews, Joe, Dave, Justin, Sam, Ivan, Ben, Ian and Landon; aunts, Sharon Milazzo and Jeanette Mankawich; uncle, Carl Heideman; other family and friends. After graduating from College of St. Benedict, Sarah taught for 3 years at St. Cloud Cathedral and Hill Murray High Schools. She then joined the family business ArKco Sales where she worked until January 2015. She lived for chasing her boys in their sports, Stillwater Relay for Life, and witnessing her faith. We will forever remember her competitive spirit. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL, 611 South Third Street, Stillwater. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, Bayport. Visitation Thursday, December 17, 2015, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5), Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Church of St. Michael or Stillwater Relay for Life - "Sarah's Brainstorm."
