Scott Addy

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Scott Andrew Addy, age 46, with his wife and mother present, passed away peacefully on Friday April 5, 2019.

Our beloved son, husband, father, brother, family, and friend succumbed after a valiant and extended battle with cancer.

Scott was born February 4, 1973 in Alexandria Minnesota. Those who knew Scott will remember his love of the outdoors, love of family, and his love of life. He had "the face of a cow" and a fast friend to anybody. He had a knack for charming the birds and never knew a stranger. His son was his pride and joy, his family was everything to him. He enjoyed searching for PokAC.mon with Teddy. He fought for those he loved and never gave up hope.

Scott will be missed everyday by his wife Therese, his son Theodore, his parents Ann and DuWayne Johnson, brother Mike, sister Rhonda (Rob), his loving extended family and many wonderful friends.

Scott was preceded in death by grandparents Ted and Eileen Olsen, other close extended family members, and Roger Addy.

A celebration of Scott's life will be held Wednesday April 10 at 3pm at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. In memory of Scott's love for cooking and craft beer, we will be having an Irish Wake. Beer and wine will be provided but please also feel free to bring your own for this celebration.

We would also like to ask that you bring a dish to share for a potluck dinner in his honor. Please include the recipe either written or typed as a dedication to his family and his legacy to his son.

In lieu of flowers and due to the extended duration of his illness we are asking that any donations be made to his family.
