Sharon L. O’Neil (nee Hoadley) passed away December 6, 2022 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O’Neil; parents, Howard and Julia Hoadley; brother, Jon “Jack” Hoadley; son, Tod Ford; stepdaughter, Shannon O’Neil; granddaughter, Lily Ford; grandson, Robert O’Neil; former husband, H. Wayne Ford.
She is survived by daughter, Vicki (Jeff) Haberman; son, Bradley Ford; stepdaughter, Kristin (Dan) Otto; grandchildren, Aaron Haberman, Jacob Haberman, Kylie (Tyler) Klusmann, Catherine Ford, Tyler Ford, Brandon Ford, David (Angie) Bollin, Ryan (Jacqlyn) Schoen, Jesse (Jeff) Ehlenz, Marie (Aaron) Schutte, Grant O’Neil; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Carter, Weston, Cayden, Jackson, Madison, Dominic, Piper, Leo and Maddox; niece, Rebecca (Jaime Alonso) Garzon.
Sharon was born in Kanawha, Iowa on her grandparents’ farm, and attended schools in Chicago and Eagle Grove, Iowa. Upon settling in Stillwater in the 1970s, she became an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and her Circle and Bible study groups. She had a talent for decorating and was a marvelous hostess, but her greatest love was for her kids and grandkids. They will all miss her deeply.
Memorial service will be 11am Monday, December 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 114 4th St N, Stillwater with visitation one hour prior and luncheon to follow. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church preferred.
