Sharon Louise Stansberry was born on November 3, 1955 to Annette Dunigan and James Stansberry in Chicago, Illinois.
Sharon, aka Big Mama, accepted Christ at an early age. Sharon had many identities to us. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She had a smile that would light up the whole room. She was a warm hearted and giving person. Sharon welcomed everyone with open arms and was a very humble person with the best conversation. She had a special love for her twins and grandchildren. But most of all, everyone loved her! Despite her health she kept smiling. Sharon took her Heavenly journey into eternal life on August 2, 2022.
Sharon was preceded in death by her grandmother Emma Farr; mother Annette Dunigan; father James Stansberry; brothers John and James Stansberry; sisters Lulu Stansberry, and Renee, Joyce, Larinda, Latrice, and Davette Dunigan; nephews John Stansberry, Cedric Dunigan, Kevin Williams, Kentral Williams, and James Stansberry Jr.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory her twins Bryan and Brandi; grandchildren Omarion Thompson and Nevaeh Needhum; step-daughters Tiana Barnes and Shameka Lloyd; brother Calvin Dunigan; sister Anita Dunigan; favorite nieces Cora "Tashava" Williams, Tavisha "White Girl" Hodges, and Annette "Mika" Dunigan; nephews Joshua, Travon, Isaiah, Harold, McKinley, and Matthew, plus a host of other family and friends.
