Benson, Shirley F.

Age 85 of White Bear Lake, passed away on April 22.

Shirley was born September 17, 1924 in St. Paul, daughter of Elmer and Lillian Fjelsted. Survived by her three loving sons; Terry (January) Benson, Greg (Marjie) Benson, Clay Benson; six grandchildren; Kurt, Amber, Carley, Grant, Hunter, Beau and two great-grand-children; Hailey and Caleb. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Jerome (Ethel) and 2 brothers and sister-in-laws, Robert & Mayonne Benson, Kenneth and Viv Benson and eight nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold E. Benson. A memorial celebration will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:30 am at First Lutheran Church, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake. Visitation one hour prior to the service and a reception will follow the service. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
