Shirley Davis

Shirley Ann Davis
Age 75, of St. Paul, Minnesota

Born April 29, 1947, in Newberry, South Carolina, to Rosa Lee Rogers and Raymond Davis. Shirley was a resident of Thomasville, North Carolina, where she graduated from Church Street High School and was a member of the Sinai Baptist Church. She moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked for Balter Packing meat company for several years. Shirley then worked for Gold Eagle Oil Company until her retirement. In 2007 Shirley moved to St. Paul, Minnesota to be with her daughter, Cynthia, and granddaughter, Aja.
Shirley's life came to a quiet close on January 15, 2023 at United Hospital. She was a vibrant, yet peaceful woman, who carried herself with a quiet dignity, and cherished her daughter and grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Cynara Ajanae Craig; her parents, Rosa Rogers, and Raymond Davis; and brothers, Henry, Calvin, Raymond, George Edward, and Bryant Davis.
Surviving to cherish her loving memory are her daughter, Cynthia Davis; grandaughter, Aja Craig; sisters, Juanita Conners, and Rosa Davis; brother, Robert Davis; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Services will be held at 11am on January 26, with visitation one hour prior, at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street).

Memorials to family preferred.
