Age 71 of Minneapolis. Passed away on September 14, 2009 after an extensive battle with cancer. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Gould and parents, Ruby and Lester Tonsager and stepfather, Harold Anderson. Survived by her sons, Bruce (DeAnne) Tonsager and Brian Tonsager and their families; brother and sisters and their families. Before retirement she was a longtime employee of the Hennepin County Schools working as a PERA with special children with Autism. Longtime member of Salem English Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held Thursday, 11 AM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Interment Fort Snelling. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at:
