Shirley was born in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Humboldt High School as Valedictorian. She enjoyed residing at her farm in Hugo, MN. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey B.J. Nelson; husband, Leo C. Hill; son, Keith Russel Nelson; sisters, Marion Bloechl and Beverly Bruce; brother, Donald Robertus; and great-granddaughter, Makaela Lynn Nelson-Warmus. She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (Jon) Penton and Heidi (Charles) Harvieux; sisters, Jeanne Thoreson, Judith (James) Gunn; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 21st at 6:00PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater MN. A visitation will be held 4:00-6:00PM before the service. Private family interment at Withrow Cemetery.
