Shirley Puffer

Shirley Ann Puffer, born 10/25/23, died 12/21/14 with her loving husband Nathan holding her hand. Survived also by children Charles Puffer DDS (Lana), Matthew Puffer MD (Jane Carlon MD), Kimberly Anderson-Uzpen MD (Robert Uzpen Jr. ) and Duncan Puffer DDS (Stephanie); 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters Janet Plefkey and Ramona Chor. Shirley loved reading and riding her Arabian, and later achieved a BA in Home Economics and Business, and studies in Fashion design in NYC. She raised children, drove her red TR3 convertible all over town; was active in PTA and AAUW then Old Town Painters. She painted for many years in Arizona and her watercolors are treasured. Shirley was an equal partner in their Cozy homebuilt aircraft business in retirement, based in their beloved Mesa AZ but flying all over the USA. Memorial Service at Boutwells Landing Chapel, 5600 Norwich Parkway, Oak Park Heights at 11AM Friday, 12/26/14. Visitation 10 AM. Memorials to St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi.
