Shirley Widseth

Age 92, passed away with beauty and grace surrounded by family on February 16, 2019. Survived by husband Wayne D. Johnson, sons, Ken Nordstrom and Greg (Beth) Nordstrom; grandchildren, Brent (Nikki) Nordstrom, Brianne (Josh) Douglas; and great-grandchildren, Camden and Cora Nordstrom. Also survived by her dear extended family whose visits she looked forward to and enjoyed. Preceded in death by parents, John and Esther Nyquist, brother, Don Nyquist; sister, Doris Anderson; and husbands, Kenneth Nordstrom Sr. and Dean Widseth. Shirley was born in Minneapolis on February 24,1926 and graduated from South High School. She retired from Ameriprise Financial after 35 years as an executive secretary. She enjoyed golf, dancing, playing cards and entertaining friends and family. A Memorial service will be held on March 1, 2019 at BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis, at 11:00 A.M. Memorial contributions can be made to the South High Foundation of Minneapolis.
