Simon Johnson

Simon O. Johnson, age 81 of Stillwater passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 18, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife, Jordyce; parents, Oscar & Elsa Johnson and his brother, Gene. He is survived by children, Eric (Terri), Amy (Mike) and Paul (Sharri); grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, Gunnar, Thor and Elsa; sister, Betty Pedric; brother, Hap (Donna) Johnson. The family would like to thank Lakeview Hospice and Visiting Angels for their compassionate care. Simon loved to spend time on the St. Croix River in his hand built kayak. He was a boat builder, gardener, hiker, stone carver and wood worker. A celebration of his life will be held during his annual corn feed on Sunday, August 9th 2015 from noon to 4:00p.m at his home.
