Age 94, of Mpls, died Sunday, August 17, 2007 in Denver, CO where she has lived the past five years at Christian Living Communities Nursing Home. Sally was born December 13, 1912 in Mpls. She went to Columbia Heights High School and Humboldt Business College. She worked at Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent Financial) as a supervisor for 47 years retiring in 1977. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, and being active in her church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Hawkinson; and sisters, Sue Beaudette, Mary Gary, and Ann Brown; and brother, Paul Gary. Several cousins, nieces and a nephew survive her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Service Friday, 10:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN.
