Stan McNeil, 63, born in San Francisco, California, passed away at North Memorial Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was welcomed into the gates of heaven on Friday, December 23, 2011.
Stan (or Sandy, as he was called by everyone when he was young), was the fourth child (and only boy) born to Stanley and Margaret McNeil, Sr. Stan never married and was preceded in death by his two older sisters (Nancy and Carolyn) and his parents. Stan is survived by his oldest sister, Marilyn E. Mahoney and a half-brother, Joseph David Medeiros; 8 nieces; 6 nephews and 1 great niece.
Stan was a proud member of the US Navy, and he was always a loving little brother. He was injured on one of the Navy ships in the late 60's and has been disabled ever since. I'll always love you Stan, you are with God in a better place now where you'll no longer feel any pain; God Bless you.
Viewing will be held at the BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street @ Magnolia, on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.; burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota.
